ALLEGRETTI IS READY: STRONG PERFORMANCE IN CONGRESSIONAL FORUM
STATEN ISLAND, NY— Life-long district resident and Republican candidate for New York’s 13th Congressional District, Michael Allegretti showed tonight that he is the candidate ready to represent us in Washington.
In tonight’s forum Michael showed the people the independence, the vision, and the leadership that is currently missing. The people from the 13th need a new voice in Washington. Michael articulated the common sense ideas that the people of Staten Island and Brooklyn are longing for. His focus is on listening to the citizens and responding to the urgent need for jobs and innovative ideas for creating good jobs. Michael reminded the audience that their current representative is not reflecting concerns of the voters in the 13th.
As Michael said tonight, “Folks are feeling pain. Local businesses and families have had to sacrifice to get through the tough times we are facing. But we should ask why our government isn’t making the sacrifices that individuals are. We deserve someone in Congress who will fight for the families of the 13th Congressional District -- not for government.”
Allegretti’s campaign manager, Ray Riley, said “it’s clear from Michael’s message that he understands the needs of the residents of this district. Staten Island is not San Francisco; we do not need a representative that votes as Nancy Pelosi would. It’s time for a true independent conservative in Washington, one that votes as the people of Staten Island and Brooklyn want. We need leadership that isn’t beholden to anybody and that puts the needs of the residents of the 13th above all else.”
Michael Allegretti is a life-long resident of New York's Thirteenth Congressional district and a co-owner of a small business. His family has owned Bayside Fuel Oil for over 75 years.
